  3. New User Validation Procedure

  7. This system uses an automatic Validation system to maintain security. The
  8. BBS will ask you a couple of questions about the phone numbers you just
  9. entered when you logged on.  Once it knows your number it can call your
  10. modem right back.  The System will then disconnect you and after a 10 second
  11. delay, the BBS will call you at the number you indicated your modem is
  12. attached to.  You may see the word RING appear on the screen or a light
  13. on the modem indicating an incoming call.  When you know the phone is ringing
  14. enter 'ATA' followed by a <CR> or let the modem answer if it is able to by
  15. itself.

  25. Wait a few seconds for the modems to establish a successful connection.  At
  26. that time you may see a 'CONNECT...' and possible garbage characters (this
  27. is OK, the HST modem takes some time to establish a good connection).

  29. You will have three chances to enter your logon password.  If successful
  30. the system will validate you immediately and you may call back
  31. immediately and have access to the public menus.

  33. Only one user per phone number is allowed.  That is, someone else can NOT
  34. use the number you supplied to gain access to this system.
